A Happy Holidays Poem to a Child of Mixed Jewish-Christian Heritage
Have a happy Hanukkah! A merry Christmas, too! And then a happy New Year! May good things come to you!
Have a happy Hanukkah!
A merry Christmas, too!
And then a happy New Year!
May good things come to you!
May your nights be peaceful
And your days be bright;
May your joys be plentiful
And your sorrows slight.
May you love to learn,
To question, change, and grow,
Even when you’re all grown up,
Despite all that you’ll know.
May you enjoy the holidays!
They were meant to be
A time of gifts, good food, good fun,
Good friends, and family!
